Coastal Engineer - PhD in Coastal Physics
Elsa Durand holds a Master’s degree in Environment, Georesources and Sustainable development engineering from ENSEGID (Bordeaux INP). She joined Waeles Marine Consultants in March 2022 to carry out her PhD about modeling the effect of sediment bypassing on the medium to long-term shoreline evolution, co-supervised by the University of Bordeaux (UMR CNRS 5805 EPOC) and BRGM (French Geological Survey). She joined the consultancy team as a permanent member in June 2025.
