Laura Lavaud
Civil and urban engineer
Laura Lavaud holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Urban Planning from INSA Lyon, with a specialisation in fluvial hydraulics from Polytechnique Montréal (Canada). After 4 years and a half of applied research on coastal hydrodynamics, including an engineer position in operational modelling, a PhD thesis on the contributions of short waves to storm surges in coastal zones, and a post-doctoral position aiming at studying the interactions between waves and salt-tolerant vegetation, she joined the consultancy team in December 2022.
